Excellent Story!
The Feel Good Factor is my kind of book...sexy and HOT!!!! The chemistry between the two main characters, Derek and Perri, was undeniable. Every part of their story fit together so perfectly, from their meeting, to the hot sex, to the end of their story, it flowed effortlessly! I enjoyed every moment of Derek and Perri’s story, along with all of the supporting characters since Ms. Blakely makes you invested in their stories as well! The Feel Good Factor definitely had ALL of the good feelings ;) I highly recommend this book!

All the Feels
I LOVED LOVED this book! Perri is so feisty on the outside but so loving on the inside, so law and order but also so very naughty. And she loves a tatted up bad boy—well at least ones who look like they are. Thankfully Derek is just her cup of tea and a genuinely good guy on the inside. Both of them have been burned by love and aren’t interested in in relationships, but the immediate and intense attraction between them could definitely have them reconsidering their stance on this. Wicked attraction, witty banter, a housing shortage, a kissing contest, and small chalkboard are all in the mix too. This is one you’ll want to re-read for all the lovely feels.

The Feel Good Factor by Lauren Blakely is the second book in her feel-good standalone romance series, Lucky In Love. The first book, which does not have to be read first, is Best Laid Plans. This is a strangers to friends and roommates to lovers romance. It has a strong female lead and a smooth talking bad boy with a heart of gold. The build up between these two is comical, hawt as heck, and absolutely combustible. Perri has no desire for a relationship as she wants to focus on her career. She has goals after all and making sergeant surpasses even the needs of her libido... Derek is in a new town to help his sister with her kids. As a paramedic he can work just about anywhere and he was done with relationships and the town he was in.When the most gorgeous cop he's ever seen pulls him over on his way into town he's grateful to get off with just a ticket but thanks to Perri's beauty and snark the ticket is the only thing he's getting off. This book is well-paced, funny, sweet, steamy, slightly angsty and was a pleasure to read! Enjoy!

Holy Moley! This may be Lauren Blakely's HOTTEST story yet! I loved the idea that the heroine is the hot cop and the hero is a paramedic. Oh the angst! It was so much fun to read Perri and Derrick's story. I adore the small town of Lucky Falls, and I have fallen in love with the people who live there. Arden and Gabe were super cute, but my goodness, Perri and Derrick lit up the pages with their chemistry! Readers are going to fall in love with this tall, dark, and tatted bad boy with a heart of gold. I know I did! Now... I just need Shaw's story. They enter a kissing contest for charity and set that as their deadline for calling it quits as neither one of them claims they want to be in a long term relationship. But as the date for the kissing contest quickly approaches, things heat up, the sex is sizzling and the chemistry undeniable, but they both keep replaying the fact that it's been said that neither is in it for the long haul. When Perri doesn't get the promotion at work, she thinks that its all because so she consumed with Derek. She mentions this to him and instead of him telling her the truth that he does want a relationship, they both decided to take a step back. Needless to say they are miserable without each other. 3.5 - 4 stars! The Feel Good Factor was super cute, fast paced and hot. The characters, side and main, really drove this story. We met both Perri and Derek (briefly) in Best Laid Plans. I couldn't wait to get their story. I love, love, love, that Lauren Blakely always makes her heroines strong, independent women. Perri is a well respected cop. She's thriving in a male dominated field. I enjoyed her spirit, her heart and her personality. I absolutely LOVED her friendship with her friends. Derek is swoon city. Dirty talking sweethearts like Derek make me weak in the knees. He came to Lucky Falls to help his sister and her kids while her husband was overseas. I mean come on hottie alert. Add in his fan yourself dirty mouth, his job as an EMT, and a motorcycle, it's obvious I never stood a chance. Unfortunately, I will admit that while I did enjoy the characters, the banter and sexiness of this book, It didn't completely wow me like some of Lauren Blakely's other books. Something was lacking for me. I'm not usually turned off by instalove but Perri and Derek's relationship may have been too instalove-ish. Feel Good Factor is still worth a pick up. Lauren Blakely is a pro at the fun, flirty sexy books. That's why she's one of automatic one-click authors.

With the sparks that fly between them it’s a wonder my iPhone didn’t burn itself to a crisp. He’s a dirty talking sexy stud with all the right moves, but he’s also a loving uncle and brother and that just make the attraction Perri feels toward him that much harder to resist. Lauren has perfected the art of combining awesome characters, sizzling sexual tension and witty banter that guarantees you’re going to feel oh-so-good about buying this awesome read.

This book made me feel so good, made me smile and made me swoon! I loved this book, and all the characters inside it! There was insta-lust between Perri and Derek, and I am always good with that! Their chemistry sizzles so hot throughout the whole book. I adored Perri - she was an intelligent, strong, independent woman with a strong sense self-worth who loved her job, family and friends but struggled with admitting her feelings and being vulnerable. Derek was, in my opinion, the perfect specimen of man! He was confident (if not a little cocky but could back it up!), smart, sexy, loved his family but was afraid to get his heart broken again. As I said, I even loved all the secondary characters in this book. This book is a perfect, fun, sexy, quick read that had me engaged the whole time! I highly recommend this romance!

And she has done it again! Lauren Blakely never ceases to amaze me with her words and sense of humor. You simply will not be able to read this charming, sexy story and not actually feel good after. Derek and Perri are perfect for each other and although they may not speed down the road to their HEA, they do eventually get there in amazing fashion. These two characters are wonderful, lovable and fun. They are both written so realistically, which I love, and given that they are both first responders, Perri is a police officer and Derek is an EMT, it gives them that something extra knowing their desire is to help others. Their chemistry and dynamic is special and they sure do burn when they are together. There are so many fun scenes in this book from the message board to the kissing contest and all lead up to a very sweet ending.

The Feel Good Factor by Lauren Blakely did exactly that, it made me feel good. I love the fact that both Perri and Derek are both first responders. Perri a police officer and Derek a paramedic. When Perri pulls a hot as heck motorcycle riding tattooed bad boy over for speeding, there is no denying the chemistry between them. It is so fun to watch this story unfold, because in a small town, you never know who or what will happen. These two are a match made in heaven even when they are both adamant that they don’t want a relationship. Every character in this book will put a smile on your face. The relationships between family and friends is just one one the many reasons I love reading Lauren’s books!

Perri and Derek’s chemistry is off the charts smoking hot! But there is the sweetest moments too that will make your heart flutter. All the kisses that make your toes curl, Derek delivers. The sweet forehead kiss, the chaste kiss, the “slam you against the wall heated kiss, you get all the kisses!! When they decide to enter the kissing contest, Derek decides to use that to his advantage, to test Perri’s resistance. I don’t know how that girl even resisted him for as long as she did, lol!!! The Feel Good Factor was a cute friends with benefits/roommates to lovers romcom. It had all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - a sexy and swoony hero, a strong and intelligent heroine, fantastic secondary characters, and a story that just makes my heart happy. I really loved the banter and push and pull between Perri and Derek. They have instalust right away, but the real chemistry occurred when they got to know each other beyond the physical. Derek was such a teddy bear with his nieces and nephew. I loved seeing that softer and gentler side to him. I did not blame Perri one bit for her ovaries exploding at the sight of Derek in full "dad mode". LOL One of my favorite parts of the story was the friendship between Perri, Arden, and Vanessa. I loved how supportive, understanding, and loyal they were to each other. It's clear that these ladies would do anything and everything for their friends and I appreciated that Lauren Blakely took time to highlight this special relationship. It also helped to set up the next book/novella featuring Perri's brother, Shaw, and her BFF, Vanessa. I did find the story fairly predictable, but the conflict Perri and Derek faced at the end felt true to their characters and their experiences. Plus, it set the stage for an epic romcom style finale. The epilogues will have you grinning ear to ear and Lauren Blakely fans are sure to enjoy this newest addition!

Definitely a Feel Good story!
The Feel Good Factor was a sexy fun story. Perri and Derek had that instant connection. Their chemistry was off the charts and they had great banter. I loved their interactions-they were sweet, steamy, and entertaining. On their own, Perri and Derek were magnificent characters. They are who they are and they complemented each other perfectly. They had a deeper layer to them and that was fascinating to get to know their true personalities. I also enjoyed seeing the friendships amongst the characters. Lauren always does a great job at connecting her characters and giving that family atmosphere. But the relationship between Perri and Derek was the spotlight and I just couldn’t get enough off these two. I truly enjoyed every minute of this book as I read it. It was awesome. This was definitely a feel good read! P.S. I am excited for Vanessa and Shaw’s story :)

Talk about a book living up to its name! The Feel Good Factor definitely had me feeling good! This book was sassy, sexy and sweet. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to read it again. I loved getting to know Perri in this book. She's an interesting mix of tough and sweet, and I found that to be extremely relatable. She's focused, driven and comfortably independent. That to me made it all the sweeter to watch her learn how to lean on someone other than her best girlfriends, Arden and Vanessa. I could definitely see myself being friends with Perri! Derek. Oh, holy wow. So I have a list of book boyfriends...and then I have a list of Lauren Blakely book boyfriends. Derek ALMOST knocked my all time favorite Blakely boyfriend off his pedestal. Derek is smart, sweet, kind and insanely sexy. I loved getting to know him and I swear, I fell for him right from the start. I absolutely love him. These two just have a spark right away. It's undeniable, it's inevitable. They try to resist it but once they come together? Wow. Their sexy times were scorchingly hot. Their first kiss? Well, if I were in a kissing contest I'd recreate that kiss. Sexy times aside, watching these two fall for each other and lean on one another was so satisfying to me. Whenever I read a book from this Author I feel like I'm wherever the characters are-be it a small town or big city. The Feel Good Factor is no different. I felt like I could lift my eyes from the pages and be in the small town of Lucky Falls, go to a book club at Arden's book store or go bowl with Vanessa. The writing just takes me there. I love seeing characters from other books mentioned, I get such a kick out of that. That being said this book IS a standalone. The writing here is sharp and fun. The supporting characters are awesome-kids included. Sometimes kids in books don't come off well; they're either forgotten about or just don't translate through the pages. That's not the case here at all. The pacing here was perfect. I was also lucky enough to listen to an audio of this book. These narrators really brought Perri and Derek to life. Erin Mallon just knocks it out of the park-she always does in my opinion. Joe nailed Derek; his tone and manner of speaking just was so perfectly Derek to me. These two play off each other very well and perform this book very well. When I read a Lauren Blakely book I never want it to end....but I can't help myself from devouring it. The Feel Good Factor was no different. This is a book that will stick with me and I know I'll read it over and over. It is the perfect blend of sassy, sexy and sweet. The Feel Good Factor by Lauren Blakely did exactly that, it made me feel good. I love the fact that both Perri and Derek are both first responders. Perri a police officer and Derek a paramedic. When Perri pulls a hot as heck motorcycle riding tattooed bad boy over for speeding, there is no denying the chemistry between them. It is so fun to watch this story unfold, because in a small town, you never know who or what will happen. These two are a match made in heaven even when they are both adamant that they don’t want a relationship. Every character in this book will put a smile on your face. The relationships between family and friends is just one one the many reasons I love reading Lauren’s books!

The Feel Good Factor was a cute friends with benefits/roommates to lovers romcom. It had all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - a sexy and swoony hero, a strong and intelligent heroine, fantastic secondary characters, and a story that just makes my heart happy. I really loved the banter and push and pull between Perri and Derek. They have instalust right away, but the real chemistry occurred when they got to know each other beyond the physical. Derek was such a teddy bear with his nieces and nephew. I loved seeing that softer and gentler side to him. I did not blame Perri one bit for her ovaries exploding at the sight of Derek in full "dad mode". LOL One of my favorite parts of the story was the friendship between Perri, Arden, and Vanessa. I loved how supportive, understanding, and loyal they were to each other. It's clear that these ladies would do anything and everything for their friends and I appreciated that Lauren Blakely took time to highlight this special relationship. It also helped to set up the next book/novella featuring Perri's brother, Shaw, and her BFF, Vanessa. I did find the story fairly predictable, but the conflict Perri and Derek faced at the end felt true to their characters and their experiences. Plus, it set the stage for an epic romcom style finale. The epilogues will have you grinning ear to ear and Lauren Blakely fans are sure to enjoy this newest addition!

Definitely a Feel Good story!
The Feel Good Factor was a sexy fun story. Perri and Derek had that instant connection. Their chemistry was off the charts and they had great banter. I loved their interactions-they were sweet, steamy, and entertaining. On their own, Perri and Derek were magnificent characters. They are who they are and they complemented each other perfectly. They had a deeper layer to them and that was fascinating to get to know their true personalities. I also enjoyed seeing the friendships amongst the characters. Lauren always does a great job at connecting her characters and giving that family atmosphere. But the relationship between Perri and Derek was the spotlight and I just couldn’t get enough off these two. I truly enjoyed every minute of this book as I read it. It was awesome. This was definitely a feel good read! P.S. I am excited for Vanessa and Shaw’s story :)

Talk about a book living up to its name! The Feel Good Factor definitely had me feeling good! This book was sassy, sexy and sweet. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to read it again. I loved getting to know Perri in this book. She's an interesting mix of tough and sweet, and I found that to be extremely relatable. She's focused, driven and comfortably independent. That to me made it all the sweeter to watch her learn how to lean on someone other than her best girlfriends, Arden and Vanessa. I could definitely see myself being friends with Perri! Derek. Oh, holy wow. So I have a list of book boyfriends...and then I have a list of Lauren Blakely book boyfriends. Derek ALMOST knocked my all time favorite Blakely boyfriend off his pedestal. Derek is smart, sweet, kind and insanely sexy. I loved getting to know him and I swear, I fell for him right from the start. I absolutely love him. These two just have a spark right away. It's undeniable, it's inevitable. They try to resist it but once they come together? Wow. Their sexy times were scorchingly hot. Their first kiss? Well, if I were in a kissing contest I'd recreate that kiss. Sexy times aside, watching these two fall for each other and lean on one another was so satisfying to me. Whenever I read a book from this Author I feel like I'm wherever the characters are-be it a small town or big city. The Feel Good Factor is no different. I felt like I could lift my eyes from the pages and be in the small town of Lucky Falls, go to a book club at Arden's book store or go bowl with Vanessa. The writing just takes me there. I love seeing characters from other books mentioned, I get such a kick out of that. That being said this book IS a standalone. The writing here is sharp and fun. The supporting characters are awesome-kids included. Sometimes kids in books don't come off well; they're either forgotten about or just don't translate through the pages. That's not the case here at all. The pacing here was perfect. I was also lucky enough to listen to an audio of this book. These narrators really brought Perri and Derek to life. Erin Mallon just knocks it out of the park-she always does in my opinion. Joe nailed Derek; his tone and manner of speaking just was so perfectly Derek to me. These two play off each other very well and perform this book very well. When I read a Lauren Blakely book I never want it to end....but I can't help myself from devouring it. The Feel Good Factor was no different. This is a book that will stick with me and I know I'll read it over and over. It is the perfect blend of sassy, sexy and sweet. Every part of their story fit together so perfectly, from their meeting, to the hot sex, to the end of their story, it flowed effortlessly! I enjoyed every moment of Derek and Perri’s story, along with all of the supporting characters since Ms. Blakely makes you invested in their stories as well! I LOVED LOVED this book! Perri is so feisty on the outside but so loving on the inside, so law and order but also so very naughty. And she loves a tatted up bad boy—well at least ones who look like they are. Thankfully Derek is just her cup of tea and a genuinely good guy on the inside. Both of them have been burned by love and aren’t interested in in relationships, but the immediate and intense attraction between them could definitely have them reconsidering their stance on this. Wicked attraction, witty banter, a housing shortage, a kissing contest, and small chalkboard are all in the mix too. This is one you’ll want to re-read for all the lovely feels.

3.5 - 4 stars! The Feel Good Factor was super cute, fast paced and hot. The characters, side and main, really drove this story. We met both Perri and Derek (briefly) in Best Laid Plans. I couldn't wait to get their story. I love, love, love, that Lauren Blakely always makes her heroines strong, independent women. Perri is a well respected cop. She's thriving in a male dominated field. I enjoyed her spirit, her heart and her personality. I absolutely LOVED her friendship with her friends. Derek is swoon city. Dirty talking sweethearts like Derek make me weak in the knees. He came to Lucky Falls to help his sister and her kids while her husband was overseas. I mean come on hottie alert. Add in his fan yourself dirty mouth, his job as an EMT, and a motorcycle, it's obvious I never stood a chance. Unfortunately, I will admit that while I did enjoy the characters, the banter and sexiness of this book, It didn't completely wow me like some of Lauren Blakely's other books. Something was lacking for me. I'm not usually turned off by instalove but Perri and Derek's relationship may have been too instalove-ish. Feel Good Factor is still worth a pick up. Lauren Blakely is a pro at the fun, flirty sexy books. That's why she's one of automatic one-click authors.

This book made me feel so good, made me smile and made me swoon! I loved this book, and all the characters inside it! There was insta-lust between Perri and Derek, and I am always good with that! Their chemistry sizzles so hot throughout the whole book. I adored Perri - she was an intelligent, strong, independent woman with a strong sense self-worth who loved her job, family and friends but struggled with admitting her feelings and being vulnerable. Derek was, in my opinion, the perfect specimen of man! He was confident (if not a little cocky but could back it up!), smart, sexy, loved his family but was afraid to get his heart broken again. As I said, I even loved all the secondary characters in this book. This book is a perfect, fun, sexy, quick read that had me engaged the whole time! I highly recommend this romance!

And she has done it again! Lauren Blakely never ceases to amaze me with her words and sense of humor. You simply will not be able to read this charming, sexy story and not actually feel good after. Derek and Perri are perfect for each other and although they may not speed down the road to their HEA, they do eventually get there in amazing fashion. These two characters are wonderful, lovable and fun. They are both written so realistically, which I love, and given that they are both first responders, Perri is a police officer and Derek is an EMT, it gives them that something extra knowing their desire is to help others. Their chemistry and dynamic is special and they sure do burn when they are together. There are so many fun scenes in this book from the message board to the kissing contest and all lead up to a very sweet ending.

3.5 - 4 stars! The Feel Good Factor was super cute, fast paced and hot. The characters, side and main, really drove this story. We met both Perri and Derek (briefly) in Best Laid Plans. I couldn't wait to get their story. I love, love, love, that Lauren Blakely always makes her heroines strong, independent women. Perri is a well respected cop. She's thriving in a male dominated field. I enjoyed her spirit, her heart and her personality. I absolutely LOVED her friendship with her friends. Derek is swoon city. Dirty talking sweethearts like Derek make me weak in the knees. He came to Lucky Falls to help his sister and her kids while her husband was overseas. I mean come on hottie alert. Add in his fan yourself dirty mouth, his job as an EMT, and a motorcycle, it's obvious I never stood a chance. Unfortunately, I will admit that while I did enjoy the characters, the banter and sexiness of this book, It didn't completely wow me like some of Lauren Blakely's other books. Something was lacking for me. I'm not usually turned off by instalove but Perri and Derek's relationship may have been too instalove-ish. Feel Good Factor is still worth a pick up. Lauren Blakely is a pro at the fun, flirty sexy books. That's why she's one of automatic one-click authors.

I started feeling good the minute I set my eyes on the super sexy cover model on Lauren’s latest book! The Feel Good Factor does exactly what it advertises by setting off a chain of events that place tattooed and muscled Derek and flirty, red headed cop Perri way too close for comfort. With the sparks that fly between them it’s a wonder my iPhone didn’t burn itself to a crisp. He’s a dirty talking sexy stud with all the right moves, but he’s also a loving uncle and brother and that just make the attraction Perri feels toward him that much harder to resist. Lauren has perfected the art of combining awesome characters, sizzling sexual tension and witty banter that guarantees you’re going to feel oh-so-good about buying this awesome read.

This book made me feel so good, made me smile and made me swoon! I loved this book, and all the characters inside it! There was insta-lust between Perri and Derek, and I am always good with that! Their chemistry sizzles so hot throughout the whole book. I adored Perri - she was an intelligent, strong, independent woman with a strong sense self-worth who loved her job, family and friends but struggled with admitting her feelings and being vulnerable. Derek was, in my opinion, the perfect specimen of man! He was confident (if not a little cocky but could back it up!), smart, sexy, loved his family but was afraid to get his heart broken again. As I said, I even loved all the secondary characters in this book. This book is a perfect, fun, sexy, quick read that had me engaged the whole time! I highly recommend this romance!

And she has done it again! Lauren Blakely never ceases to amaze me with her words and sense of humor. You simply will not be able to read this charming, sexy story and not actually feel good after. Derek and Perri are perfect for each other and although they may not speed down the road to their HEA, they do eventually get there in amazing fashion. These two characters are wonderful, lovable and fun. They are both written so realistically, which I love, and given that they are both first responders, Perri is a police officer and Derek is an EMT, it gives them that something extra knowing their desire is to help others. Their chemistry and dynamic is special and they sure do burn when they are together. There are so many fun scenes in this book from the message board to the kissing contest and all lead up to a very sweet ending.

When Perri pulls a hot as heck motorcycle riding tattooed bad boy over for speeding, there is no denying the chemistry between them. It is so fun to watch this story unfold, because in a small town, you never know who or what will happen. These two are a match made in heaven even when they are both adamant that they don’t want a relationship. Every character in this book will put a smile on your face. The relationships between family and friends is just one one the many reasons I love reading Lauren’s books!

The Feel Good Factor was a cute friends with benefits/roommates to lovers romcom. It had all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - a sexy and swoony hero, a strong and intelligent heroine, fantastic secondary characters, and a story that just makes my heart happy. I really loved the banter and push and pull between Perri and Derek. They have instalust right away, but the real chemistry occurred when they got to know each other beyond the physical. Derek was such a teddy bear with his nieces and nephew. I loved seeing that softer and gentler side to him. I did not blame Perri one bit for her ovaries exploding at the sight of Derek in full "dad mode". LOL One of my favorite parts of the story was the friendship between Perri, Arden, and Vanessa. I loved how supportive, understanding, and loyal they were to each other. It's clear that these ladies would do anything and everything for their friends and I appreciated that Lauren Blakely took time to highlight this special relationship. It also helped to set up the next book/novella featuring Perri's brother, Shaw, and her BFF, Vanessa. I did find the story fairly predictable, but the conflict Perri and Derek faced at the end felt true to their characters and their experiences. Plus, it set the stage for an epic romcom style finale. The epilogues will have you grinning ear to ear and Lauren Blakely fans are sure to enjoy this newest addition!

Definitely a Feel Good story!
The Feel Good Factor was a sexy fun story. Perri and Derek had that instant connection. Their chemistry was off the charts and they had great banter. I loved their interactions-they were sweet, steamy, and entertaining. On their own, Perri and Derek were magnificent characters. They are who they are and they complemented each other perfectly. They had a deeper layer to them and that was fascinating to get to know their true personalities. I also enjoyed seeing the friendships amongst the characters. Lauren always does a great job at connecting her characters and giving that family atmosphere. But the relationship between Perri and Derek was the spotlight and I just couldn’t get enough off these two. I truly enjoyed every minute of this book as I read it. It was awesome. This was definitely a feel good read! P.S. I am excited for Vanessa and Shaw’s story :)

Talk about a book living up to its name! The Feel Good Factor definitely had me feeling good! This book was sassy, sexy and sweet. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to read it again. I loved getting to know Perri in this book. She's an interesting mix of tough and sweet, and I found that to be extremely relatable. She's focused, driven and comfortably independent. That to me made it all the sweeter to watch her learn how to lean on someone other than her best girlfriends, Arden and Vanessa. I could definitely see myself being friends with Perri! Derek. Oh, holy wow. So I have a list of book boyfriends...and then I have a list of Lauren Blakely book boyfriends. Derek ALMOST knocked my all time favorite Blakely boyfriend off his pedestal. Derek is smart, sweet, kind and insanely sexy. I loved getting to know him and I swear, I fell for him right from the start. I absolutely love him. These two just have a spark right away. It's undeniable, it's inevitable. They try to resist it but once they come together? Wow. Their sexy times were scorchingly hot. Their first kiss? Well, if I were in a kissing contest I'd recreate that kiss. Sexy times aside, watching these two fall for each other and lean on one another was so satisfying to me. Whenever I read a book from this Author I feel like I'm wherever the characters are-be it a small town or big city. The Feel Good Factor is no different. I felt like I could lift my eyes from the pages and be in the small town of Lucky Falls, go to a book club at Arden's book store or go bowl with Vanessa. The writing just takes me there. I love seeing characters from other books mentioned, I get such a kick out of that. That being said this book IS a standalone. The writing here is sharp and fun. The supporting characters are awesome-kids included. Sometimes kids in books don't come off well; they're either forgotten about or just don't translate through the pages. That's not the case here at all. The pacing here was perfect. I was also lucky enough to listen to an audio of this book. These narrators really brought Perri and Derek to life. Erin Mallon just knocks it out of the park-she always does in my opinion. Joe nailed Derek; his tone and manner of speaking just was so perfectly Derek to me. These two play off each other very well and perform this book very well. When I read a Lauren Blakely book I never want it to end....but I can't help myself from devouring it. The Feel Good Factor was no different. This is a book that will stick with me and I know I'll read it over and over. It is the perfect blend of sassy, sexy and sweet. The Feel Good Factor is my kind of book...sexy and HOT!!!! The chemistry between the two main characters, Derek and Perri, was undeniable. Every part of their story fit together so perfectly, from their meeting, to the hot sex, to the end of their story, it flowed effortlessly! I enjoyed every moment of Derek and Perri’s story, along with all of the supporting characters since Ms. Blakely makes you invested in their stories as well! I LOVED LOVED this book! Perri is so feisty on the outside but so loving on the inside, so law and order but also so very naughty. And she loves a tatted up bad boy—well at least ones who look like they are. Thankfully Derek is just her cup of tea and a genuinely good guy on the inside. Both of them have been burned by love and aren’t interested in in relationships, but the immediate and intense attraction between them could definitely have them reconsidering their stance on this. Wicked attraction, witty banter, a housing shortage, a kissing contest, and small chalkboard are all in the mix too. This is one you’ll want to re-read for all the lovely feels.

The build up between these two is comical, hawt as heck, and absolutely combustible. Perri has no desire for a relationship as she wants to focus on her career. She has goals after all and making sergeant surpasses even the needs of her libido... Derek is in a new town to help his sister with her kids. As a paramedic he can work just about anywhere and he was done with relationships and the town he was in.When the most gorgeous cop he's ever seen pulls him over on his way into town he's grateful to get off with just a ticket but thanks to Perri's beauty and snark the ticket is the only thing he's getting off. Derek is smart, sweet, kind and insanely sexy. I loved getting to know him and I swear, I fell for him right from the start. I absolutely love him. These two just have a spark right away. It's undeniable, it's inevitable. They try to resist it but once they come together? Wow. Their sexy times were scorchingly hot. Their first kiss? Well, if I were in a kissing contest I'd recreate that kiss. Sexy times aside, watching these two fall for each other and lean on one another was so satisfying to me. Whenever I read a book from this Author I feel like I'm wherever the characters are-be it a small town or big city. The Feel Good Factor is no different. I felt like I could lift my eyes from the pages and be in the small town of Lucky Falls, go to a book club at Arden's book store or go bowl with Vanessa. The writing just takes me there. I love seeing characters from other books mentioned, I get such a kick out of that. That being said this book IS a standalone. The writing here is sharp and fun. The supporting characters are awesome-kids included. Sometimes kids in books don't come off well; they're either forgotten about or just don't translate through the pages. That's not the case here at all. The pacing here was perfect. I was also lucky enough to listen to an audio of this book. These narrators really brought Perri and Derek to life. Erin Mallon just knocks it out of the park-she always does in my opinion. Joe nailed Derek; his tone and manner of speaking just was so perfectly Derek to me. These two play off each other very well and perform this book very well. When I read a Lauren Blakely book I never want it to end....but I can't help myself from devouring it. The Feel Good Factor was no different. This is a book that will stick with me and I know I'll read it over and over. It is the perfect blend of sassy, sexy and sweet. Excellent Story!
The Feel Good Factor is my kind of book...sexy and HOT!!!! The chemistry between the two main characters, Derek and Perri, was undeniable. Every part of their story fit together so perfectly, from their meeting, to the hot sex, to the end of their story, it flowed effortlessly! I enjoyed every moment of Derek and Perri’s story, along with all of the supporting characters since Ms. Blakely makes you invested in their stories as well! The Feel Good Factor definitely had ALL of the good feelings ;) I highly recommend this book!

All the Feels
I LOVED LOVED this book! Perri is so feisty on the outside but so loving on the inside, so law and order but also so very naughty. And she loves a tatted up bad boy—well at least ones who look like they are. Thankfully Derek is just her cup of tea and a genuinely good guy on the inside. Both of them have been burned by love and aren’t interested in in relationships, but the immediate and intense attraction between them could definitely have them reconsidering their stance on this. Wicked attraction, witty banter, a housing shortage, a kissing contest, and small chalkboard are all in the mix too. This is one you’ll want to re-read for all the lovely feels.

This is a strangers to friends and roommates to lovers romance. It has a strong female lead and a smooth talking bad boy with a heart of gold. The build up between these two is comical, hawt as heck, and absolutely combustible. Perri has no desire for a relationship as she wants to focus on her career. She has goals after all and making sergeant surpasses even the needs of her libido... Derek is in a new town to help his sister with her kids. As a paramedic he can work just about anywhere and he was done with relationships and the town he was in.When the most gorgeous cop he's ever seen pulls him over on his way into town he's grateful to get off with just a ticket but thanks to Perri's beauty and snark the ticket is the only thing he's getting off. This book is well-paced, funny, sweet, steamy, slightly angsty and was a pleasure to read! Enjoy!

Holy Moley! This may be Lauren Blakely's HOTTEST story yet! I loved the idea that the heroine is the hot cop and the hero is a paramedic. Oh the angst! It was so much fun to read Perri and Derrick's story. I adore the small town of Lucky Falls, and I have fallen in love with the people who live there. Arden and Gabe were super cute, but my goodness, Perri and Derrick lit up the pages with their chemistry! Readers are going to fall in love with this tall, dark, and tatted bad boy with a heart of gold. I know I did! Now... I just need Shaw's story. 3.5 - 4 stars! The Feel Good Factor was super cute, fast paced and hot. The characters, side and main, really drove this story. We met both Perri and Derek (briefly) in Best Laid Plans. I couldn't wait to get their story. I love, love, love, that Lauren Blakely always makes her heroines strong, independent women. Perri is a well respected cop. She's thriving in a male dominated field. I enjoyed her spirit, her heart and her personality. I absolutely LOVED her friendship with her friends. Derek is swoon city. Dirty talking sweethearts like Derek make me weak in the knees. He came to Lucky Falls to help his sister and her kids while her husband was overseas. I mean come on hottie alert. Add in his fan yourself dirty mouth, his job as an EMT, and a motorcycle, it's obvious I never stood a chance. Unfortunately, I will admit that while I did enjoy the characters, the banter and sexiness of this book, It didn't completely wow me like some of Lauren Blakely's other books. Something was lacking for me. I'm not usually turned off by instalove but Perri and Derek's relationship may have been too instalove-ish. Feel Good Factor is still worth a pick up. Lauren Blakely is a pro at the fun, flirty sexy books. That's why she's one of automatic one-click authors.

This book made me feel so good, made me smile and made me swoon! I loved this book, and all the characters inside it! There was insta-lust between Perri and Derek, and I am always good with that! Their chemistry sizzles so hot throughout the whole book. I adored Perri - she was an intelligent, strong, independent woman with a strong sense self-worth who loved her job, family and friends but struggled with admitting her feelings and being vulnerable. Derek was, in my opinion, the perfect specimen of man! He was confident (if not a little cocky but could back it up!), smart, sexy, loved his family but was afraid to get his heart broken again. As I said, I even loved all the secondary characters in this book. This book is a perfect, fun, sexy, quick read that had me engaged the whole time! I highly recommend this romance!

And she has done it again! Lauren Blakely never ceases to amaze me with her words and sense of humor. You simply will not be able to read this charming, sexy story and not actually feel good after. Derek and Perri are perfect for each other and although they may not speed down the road to their HEA, they do eventually get there in amazing fashion. These two characters are wonderful, lovable and fun. They are both written so realistically, which I love, and given that they are both first responders, Perri is a police officer and Derek is an EMT, it gives them that something extra knowing their desire is to help others. Their chemistry and dynamic is special and they sure do burn when they are together. There are so many fun scenes in this book from the message board to the kissing contest and all lead up to a very sweet ending.

The Feel Good Factor by Lauren Blakely did exactly that, it made me feel good. I love the fact that both Perri and Derek are both first responders. Perri a police officer and Derek a paramedic. When Perri pulls a hot as heck motorcycle riding tattooed bad boy over for speeding, there is no denying the chemistry between them. It is so fun to watch this story unfold, because in a small town, you never know who or what will happen. These two are a match made in heaven even when they are both adamant that they don’t want a relationship. Every character in this book will put a smile on your face. The relationships between family and friends is just one one the many reasons I love reading Lauren’s books!

He may have the bad boy persona going on (tatted, rides a motorcycle, dirty talker) but he really is a great guy. Best of both worlds really! Perri and Derek’s chemistry is off the charts smoking hot! But there is the sweetest moments too that will make your heart flutter. All the kisses that make your toes curl, Derek delivers. The sweet forehead kiss, the chaste kiss, the “slam you against the wall heated kiss, you get all the kisses!! When they decide to enter the kissing contest, Derek decides to use that to his advantage, to test Perri’s resistance. I don’t know how that girl even resisted him for as long as she did, lol!!! The Feel Good Factor was a cute friends with benefits/roommates to lovers romcom. It had all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - a sexy and swoony hero, a strong and intelligent heroine, fantastic secondary characters, and a story that just makes my heart happy. I really loved the banter and push and pull between Perri and Derek. They have instalust right away, but the real chemistry occurred when they got to know each other beyond the physical. Derek was such a teddy bear with his nieces and nephew. I loved seeing that softer and gentler side to him. I did not blame Perri one bit for her ovaries exploding at the sight of Derek in full "dad mode". LOL One of my favorite parts of the story was the friendship between Perri, Arden, and Vanessa. I loved how supportive, understanding, and loyal they were to each other. It's clear that these ladies would do anything and everything for their friends and I appreciated that Lauren Blakely took time to highlight this special relationship. It also helped to set up the next book/novella featuring Perri's brother, Shaw, and her BFF, Vanessa. I did find the story fairly predictable, but the conflict Perri and Derek faced at the end felt true to their characters and their experiences. Plus, it set the stage for an epic romcom style finale. The epilogues will have you grinning ear to ear and Lauren Blakely fans are sure to enjoy this newest addition!

Definitely a Feel Good story!
The Feel Good Factor was a sexy fun story. Perri and Derek had that instant connection. Their chemistry was off the charts and they had great banter. I loved their interactions-they were sweet, steamy, and entertaining. On their own, Perri and Derek were magnificent characters. They are who they are and they complemented each other perfectly. They had a deeper layer to them and that was fascinating to get to know their true personalities. I also enjoyed seeing the friendships amongst the characters. Lauren always does a great job at connecting her characters and giving that family atmosphere. But the relationship between Perri and Derek was the spotlight and I just couldn’t get enough off these two. I truly enjoyed every minute of this book as I read it. It was awesome. This was definitely a feel good read! P.S. I am excited for Vanessa and Shaw’s story :)
